Cassie did her job very well, but unlike the others, she went above and beyond her call of duty. Cassie brought me food plates. Also, they were not giving me some of the regular meds that I have to take. My doctor was off, and she told me that she was going to take care of me and told the doctor she was not going back to me without my meds.
Shortly, she came back with what she could tell I was needing. Cassie would make special stops to check on me and knew what I needed without telling her. She is a compassionate, caring, and kind person. She always was joyful no matter how hectic her day was. We had a lot of fun and laughs during my stay and I will surely miss her and never forget her. I have never been treated as kindly as she treated me at any other hospital that I have been in. She is truly a Godsend. She is one of the most valuable nurses on 3 East that any hospital could ever ask for. She is truly a blessing to this hospital and all of her people that she takes care of. She made my hospital stay more like a vacation with a very good friend. I surely do thank Cassie Thomas and praise her for being the person that she is and not just another nurse.
