Cathaline Chisholm, RN

Cathaline is a strong leader committed to her staff and her patients. In the years she has been the manager of T5B, her unit has undergone many changes and through each one, Cathaline has been a steady, supportive leader. Her staff knows she will always answer her phone when they call, respond to all of their emails, and leave her office door open- greeting them with chocolate and a smile. She has created an environment where attributes of trust, compassion, mutual respect, and continued professional development are modeled and supported. She comes in on her days off to meet with her weekend and night shift staff and make sure they have all they need for success. She has even been known to cancel her own weekend plans if she knows her staff needs her at the hospital. Cathaline is an exemplary unit manager very much a DAISY Nurse Leader.
