Catherin Burton, BSN, RN

Being in healthcare for 16 years and working with many nurses over those years, I know a good nurse when I see one. Catherin was phenomenal. She is always seen with a smile, a positive attitude, and is more than willing to answer any question or do something to put my worried mind as a mother to rest. She is the epitome of what a great nurse, a caring nurse, and a highly intelligent nurse is. I hope she is considered for this great honor, and to be recognized because to show up with such compassion and love for a family you don’t know speaks volumes on her character. She deserves recognition. My 10-year-old son was admitted for Meckel’s diverticulum which required a bowel resection with a hernia repair. It is mentally, physically, and emotionally draining but knowing that we have a nurse like her in our corner makes me feel safe and confident in the care we have received at St. Chris!
