Catherine Darlene Bilden, BSN, RN

Darlene is one of the best nurses I’ve ever worked with. She’s constantly advocating for her patients and thinking of ways to improve their care. For example, she will go out of her way to coordinate with RT and PT to get her sick ICU patients down to the healing garden to help with their depression. Recently, she did a collection for an immigrant father of a neurologically devastated patient and raised over $700 for him to help with medical expenses. She is caring and kind, but firm and not a pushover with her patients. Essentially a super mom with them. I’ve said many times if I ever get sick in the ICU I want Darlene to take care of me.
