Catherine always goes above and beyond for her patients. Her dedication to her profession and to Mercy is exemplary. Recently, one of her patients turned 96. Catherine went out of her way to purchase balloons, a birthday sash, and a birthday tiara to wear.

The patient felt very special, and her family was very appreciative. This is just one example of the way that Catherine makes her patients feel at home, while they are not at home. She is a wonderful nurse and a perfect example of a DAISY Award Honoree. Many nurses can learn a lot from her!
