After I broke my titanium leg and had it replaced, I was in crazy amounts of pain. Catherine came in for vital signs and my mom explained the pain that I was in. Catherine looked at us and said, "You'll be okay in 10 minutes" and literally ran out of the room. Catherine took the time to find the doctor and had him give her an order to get me some pain relief. What she did made such a difference. Catherine is awesome.
Another time, Catherine and my parents were talking about how nice the weather had gotten. I was obviously upset about it, being in the hospital and all. That night, 10 minutes after her shift ended, Catherine came into my room fully equipped with a wheelchair, a pass, and 3 Ice-cream tickets. She stayed over an hour past her shift to make me feel better! That is the epitome of the great care that I received here. Thank you!
