My husband has been here for 3 days now. We've had incredible people helping us along this stay. We also want to recognize Catherine who has been L's nurse today. She too is incredible. You can tell she loves her job her patients and the patient’s family. My brother unexpectedly passed yesterday, and Catherine made it a point to come and ask me how I was doing. She reminded me to eat and take care of myself too. She took the time to bring me ice water and checked back on me later to see if I'd like another. She is truly a people person. I just want to hug her but with protocols, I figure that would not be appropriate. Please give her some recognition for being not just the outstanding nurse that she is but a terrific human being.

P.S. She was always checking on L when her time allowed and always asked us if we had any questions or if there was anything she could do for us.
