The amount of love and care we received from all of the nurses and staff during our 4 days here was exemplary. In particular, Cathy Lauro was an angel on earth who has a magic innate ability to make us feel at home while we were here. Her comforting nature and efforts to relate to us helped bridge the gap of fear, that we, as I am sure many new parents feel during these few days. I truly feel without our conversations with Catherine, on this day, I'm not sure we would have felt comfortable going home and being able to do this alone. She talked us through a lot of our fears and concerns and made them feel normal and showed us through our actions and how we were going to be able to handle them.

I wish I did not feel so tired because I could write a novel for the comfort she provided to us. But alas words fail me at this time so I will leave you with one last sentiment before we continue on this journey. Catherine Lauro is special, she is priceless in a field in which patients are so lost.  Do not lose a woman like her, she is one of a kind.  God bless you for allowing a true angel to be here during our time and I really hope our paths cross again.
