Catherine has consistently demonstrated an extraordinary level of compassion, professionalism, and expertise in my care while I was a post-op patient at the neurosurgery inpatient ward 10B after brain surgery. She is meticulous in monitoring a patient's condition. In the time she found my mental status changed (seizure occurrence), she remained calm and a reassuring presence, at the same time, she gathered all the necessary interventions, and collaborated seamlessly with the interdisciplinary team. She also supported my daughter through the emotionally challenging time. I wholeheartedly recommend Catherine Leonetti for this DAISY Award, as she is truly deserving of this honor.
