Catherine Little was nominated for the DAISY Award by a patient that she cared for in the Emergency Department at the Royal Alexandra Hospital. Her empathy and compassion were evident to the patient and her family as Catherine made sure that they felt like they were a priority and answered all their questions. This also helped ease their stress during their stay at the Royal Alexandra Hospital. Catherine's excellent clinical skills and competency helped to ensure that the patient and family felt safe and well cared for despite their knowledge that there were several other patients in the area that needed Catherine's care as much as they did.
