I had a discectomy and a fusion in my back. My recovery was difficult due to pain management. My pain levels required unusual treatment and took two hours to control. Catherine Luce was by my side every moment possible. She was attentive, proactive, and forward-thinking at each step. Due to bed space, we were in recovery for 8 hours, and Catherine took care of me while juggling all her other recoveries. Her effort and kindness helped us navigate a difficult and painful process that would have felt very hopeless without her choice to show kindness, patience, and care that should characterize every nurse who provides care. She is excellent!
