Catherine Nye, Registered Nurse

Not only did Catherine Nye make me feel comfortable by talking to me but also made sure everything in her power to help with any situation that arose. I have been to about 7 different hospitals and some multiple times each and she is the best nurse I’ve ever had, and that I’ve ever seen. They tried kicking me out of the hospital. They started me on antibiotics and I had a feeling I was going to have a bad reaction, so I asked to stay one night to be safe. I started vomiting, my heart rate was up which is unusual for me, and I had a fever. Also, I was here for 3 days and not one nurse had done my leg culture. As soon as she became my nurse, she made sure it got done. Go figure. I ended up being very sick. She was wonderful with a positive attitude and truly cares about her patients! She always communicated and kept me up to date about my chart and results. It was done because she cares. She was always doing something for someone, a true idol.
