Catherine first came to my rescue when I was getting ready for my CT. The technicians could not get my IV in and she came in and got it on the first stick. I then went to outpatient to receive fluids. Catherine went above and beyond to get my vitals, and everything while still caring for other patients. I had not eaten for quite a few days and I had asked if I could have a milkshake and she didn't know. She went ahead and called my doctor to find out. I was then getting really flushed and hot and she did not know what could be causing it so she called the pharmacist and found out that I could be having a reaction to the fluids and so she slowed the infusion down. I had to be there for around 6 hours so she got my family some chairs and showed them where the family drinks and snacks were. In my life, I have had to go through a ton of nurses with my disease and Catherine was by far one of the best and most respectful ones I have had.
