We have had a morbidly obese patient who requires a ton of TLC. She has skin breakdown and is super sick. Cathy had her every shift for about two weeks. Cathy also had 1-2 other patients and an orientee during these shifts with no PST. She gave this patient a total bath each night. The patient's skin tremendously improved. Cathy always takes the extra time to give her patients what they need. She's also an excellent charge nurse. You know you are having a good shift if she is in charge.
