My mother was moved to the IMC from the oncology floor on Thanksgiving night. She was catatonic. Taylor gave her extraordinary care for two nights in a row. The first night my mom defecated in her bed seven times. Taylor cleaned her up each time and had a wonderful attitude about it. I know that's not how she planned her Thanksgiving night but we are so thankful to her. My mother was not an easy patient being unable to communicate or take commands and screaming when touched. Even through all this, Taylor went the extra mile. She gave my mother exceptional oral care which she so desperately needed. We can't thank her enough. Even though my mother does not remember her, I always will.
