Catherine Thompson was nominated by four separate patients/families. All the nominations referenced her kindness, compassion and caring as well as her exceptional skill as a labor and delivery nurse. All thanked Cathy for her prompt interventions when needed, leading to a positive delivery experience. One patient also commented that Cathy was willing to say a quick prayer while on the way to a stat C-Section. Cathy was selected for a DAISY Award to recognize her customer service, hard work, positive attitude, and excellent patient care.
