I am nominating Cathleen (Cathy) McLaughlin, an extraordinary nurse leader whose unwavering dedication, compassion, and visionary guidance have profoundly impacted both patients and colleagues alike. With an innate ability to inspire and uplift, Cathy consistently leads by example- championing excellence in care, fostering a culture of empathy, and resilience. Her leadership has not only improved our departments overall scores but has also built stronger, more resilient team at Spring Adult Family Medicine.

Cathy has been an exceptional nurse manager and an unwavering pillar of support for our department. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure her team feels valued, supported, and empowered. Cathy’s office is a safe haven—whether we need to vent, cry, scream, or simply share a laugh, she welcomes us with open arms, regardless of how busy her day might be. Her door is always open, and her heart is always in the right place.

What truly sets Cathy apart is her ability to create an environment rooted in compassion, trust, and mutual respect. She models ethical behavior and encourages continued professional growth among her staff. Cathy not only listens—she truly hears us.
