I'm 45 years old. I had a massive heart attack. I'm a diabetic, have been since I was 19. Ms. Cathy has taught me more about my heart, my diabetes, and everything else going on with my body. She would explain things over and over again until I felt like I knew the information. She has taught me more in the last 24 hours than I have learned all my life. Because of Ms. Cathy, I really do want to fight for my life. Really try to control my diabetes. Try to improve my heart now that I understand how my body works. She would skip lunch and breaks just to help us and teach us. We couldn't have our family with us. I got lucky with Ms. Cathy, she treated me like family.
