Cathy Dio, BSN, RN

Cathy consistently provides quality care for each of her patients and also advocates on their behalf to ensure that they are receiving the right care at the right time. She recently received recognition for insisting that a patient be evaluated after hours, and due to her persistence in the matter, the patient received potentially life-saving care. She is patient and thorough with every patient she encounters, and she keeps the patient's family in mind as well. Cathy is our go-to preceptor on the unit, and she passes on a little bit of that compassion to each of her students and orientees.
