Cathy was my nurse the night my labor began through the morning of the day my baby was born. During the time, Cathy was always sure that I had what I needed to feel happy, comfortable, and safe. She was also cognizant of my husband and mom's needs while they were there. Cathy's fun and personable demeanor made my experience one I'll never forget!
A major event that stands out is the epidural process. Being my first pregnancy. I was feeling very anxious about the entire birthing process and epidural. Cathy was on top of my pain the whole time while helping get the epidural started right away after I asked. When the anesthesiologist arrived at my room to begin the epidural, Cathy was there to make it as painless as possible. She was talking me through the process while holding me close. I did not feel an ounce of fear, all thanks to Cathy. After the epidural Cathy began "Spinning Babies" and my baby was reading within an hour. Even during the delivery, Cathy was cheering me on being sure she was there the whole time even if it was past her shift.
I gave birth to a beautiful and healthy baby girl. I will share with her in the future that we were blessed with the best nurse ever! Thank you for all you do, Cathy! I appreciate all you did for me and my family more than words could ever express!
