Cathy is always helpful, not only to her patients, but to all patients, family and staff. She is compassionate and caring. She goes all out to help. Not only does she exhibit excellent nursing skills, but she uses her CD certification knowledge to really go out and help all of our chemically dependent patients, a large part of our population. She leads by example. She has done a poster to share her knowledge of street drugs with us and is always willing to share what she knows as well as learn new things. She is a team player and has been personally heard managing other staff from our housekeepers to peers and doctors. She has never batted an eye about helping out no matter what the circumstances are. Our patients have a wonderful advocate in Cathy. She always has a smile and treats everyone with dignity and respect. She chips in to help without being told. She exhibits professionalism in every way whether passing meds, doing groups, or patient interactions. She cheers people up with her smile and humor. Patients love her gentle approach. She is truly an exceptional nurse.
