Cathy came to talk to me to ask me to mail a package to a patient who had recently lost her newborn baby. The mom was understandably having a difficult time coping with the loss and had called to request copies of the baby's handprints. Since only footprints are taken for newborns, Cathy personally went down to the morgue and did handprints to send to the mom. I know that she has also talked to the mom several times to provide support as she goes through the very difficult process of grieving.
