When I was 34 weeks pregnant I started having contractions and thought I was going to have my baby boy early. Catie did everything she could to keep me comfortable and relaxed. She helped me position myself to try to stop the contractions and minimize my pain. She talked to me and with me through the pain. I then had Catie again when I finally had him at 39 weeks. She helped coach me with pushing and then took care of my son like he was her own.

Catie then kept me company throughout the nights during my stay. We shared stories and when I was ready to switch to formula, she supported my decision and made me feel like I wasn’t failing. Catie was the best nurse both times and helped start my post-partum journey without the mom guilt when things went differently than I planned. Catie was there for the births of two of our kids. She went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly since both births happened so quickly.
