Catrina Austin, RMN
Catrina's got everything. She is very caring and looks after everyone. Nothing is too much trouble for her. She is also so kind to relatives. She shines over everybody else.

Kitty has worked steadily through her nursing grades despite several personal setbacks, which shows tenacity and courage. Speaking as a patient, I find her personable, cheerful, and reliable, and she is attentive to the patient's needs. I wish her all the very best for a successful future in nursing. Well done, Kitty.

Catrina has gone from being an HCA on the ward to then undertaking and completing her NAT training, which she has passed despite during that time suffering the loss of her father. Catrina continued with her training as her father had made her promise before he died that she would. Catrina has successfully continued and succeeded in her goal to become a registered nurse. The resilience that she has shown is remarkable. We often forget how newly qualified Catrina is; this is because she is professional and thorough and works so well as a member of the ward team. She has such wonderful mannerisms with the patients. The patients often request that she work with them on the next shift she is on.
In all the time I have watched her progress, I can tell that she will continue to go far. I am terribly proud of her achievements and so proud that she has become a brilliant nurse.
