I was in my chair in the dialysis room when all of a sudden, the patient across from me, in another dialysis chair, coded. This team of nurses never hesitated to tend to him immediately, keeping him alive until the medical team arrived.
These nurses applied CPR, while another held the IV high above his head, and another nurse held his legs up high, while another nurse made sure his vitals were coming back. What a great team of nurses! I sat in my dialysis chair and watched the entire event. They never gave up, and they never panicked.
When the medical team arrived, they turned the alive patient over to them for further treatment.
