Cayla has been a nurse for just over 11 years, starting her career on a Med/Surg unit in the Twin Cities.  She spent seven years as a triage nurse in Internal Medicine and a Heart Failure Clinic before joining the Float Pool at Mercy when she moved to Oshkosh in December of 2023.  

She has recently joined the amazing inpatient Rehab team on the weekend/night shift program.  Cayla and her husband are blessed and blended with 5 children.  As a family, they enjoy being outdoors, especially playing pickleball, soccer, and going for walks/runs by the lake.

"Words cannot express how grateful I am for Cayla!  She went above and beyond to make a difficult situation more comfortable for me.  When my machines were beeping, Cayla was there to assess the issues.  She always made me feel comfortable when getting me in and out of bed, making sure not to expose me and to keep my dignity.  Cayla also knew the importance of making sure I received my meals.  Keep being amazing!  You truly make an impact!"
