Cayla Sharkey, BSN, RN
When I arrived at Einstein Montgomery, I was in really bad shape mentally and physically, and I just couldn’t stop crying. I could not get myself together, and then I met this young lady named Cayla Sharkey. It’s like God sent her right down to me.
I needed to hear all that she had to say. She talked to me, and she listened to me. She made me feel so much better about the procedure I had, how I felt, and things I have going on in my life. She was just wonderful. It didn’t even bother her that I kept having to push the nurse's call button a lot.
My mother always told me tone and delivery are everything. She’s always so pleasant, so calm, patient, and willing to talk to me and listen. She really helped me out yesterday morning. If she treats me this way, I know she treats everybody else the same. She deserves the recognition and a spotlight on her for all the good things she does and, most of all, how she makes people feel.
