Caylee is quick to develop a good rapport with her coworkers, patients, and the providers she works with. She treats all patients fairly and with respect. She helps make each person she encounters feel special. The patient who nominated Caylee had this to say about her:

“Congratulations on winning the DAISY! You are so deserving. It has been two years since I spent a month at ACMH recuperating from our accident. The staff here was amazing, and as with any situation, there were some of you that ‘stood out in the crowd’! Your bubbly personality and your willingness to go out of your way to make this ‘old lady’s’ stay a more pleasant one will always remain with me. You had a vacation while I was here, and you brought the pictures to share with me when you came back. Sort of made me feel like I had been there, too.

Your caring ways and your sharing have not diminished. Last summer, when my sister-in-law was here, you were there again, taking care of her and making her feel special. And a few months ago, L spent some time here and was fortunate to have you as one of his nurses. He has nothing but good things to say about you and the care you gave him. He had not been in the hospital to stay overnight before, and you made the experience a little less apprehensive for him. And I can’t tell how relieved he was when we came back to the ER, and you were the one who took care of him.
