Cecile’s role as a Charge Nurse and Coach was pivotal in the seamless onboarding of new graduates or newly hired nurses in the unit. She willingly shares her clinical expertise so they can effectively care for the oncology population. She easily gained the new staff’s respect because she is skilled in extracting feedback to determine their progress. Her teaching methodology is characterized by honesty, encouragement of critical thinking, and deep sensitivity to the diverse needs and interests of her learners.
