Cecilia went above and beyond for a family member of mine. Cecilia asked the patient what was bothering her. The patient denied anything, but the nurse proceeded to close the door, sit on her bed, turn the TV off, and take time to talk to her. This kind of care is rare to find in healthcare due to the demands of this job. I have personally worked for Bellin for 16 years and have come across a handful of positive interactions like this, but this one is by far the most meaningful in my life as it relates to close family.
