Cecily Ridgway, RN

While in her role as a nurse clinical manager, she manages a very busy orthopedic clinic with both surgical and nonsurgical patients. She manages the surgical schedules for over seven orthopedic surgeons and two podiatric surgeons. Her consistent, superb work ethic and organization leads to greater availability in clinical access to the active-duty Sailor, Marine, Airman, or Soldier. She goes the extra mile every day in order to create a more efficient clinical workspace for excellent productivity in the orthopedic clinic as well as access to surgery. She is a pillar in our clinic that we all rely on heavily. She is currently working as a new mother, and she is a role model for all of us. I give my strongest recommendation for the DAISY Nurse Leader Award.
