Ceiandra Milton, BSN, RN

Ceiandra treated me like her family. I was nervous about being in a hospital for many reasons and her care soothed much of my anxiety. When I was scared she held me, and when I cried she told me it would be okay. Her shift started just as I went into labor and I gave birth just after her shift ended. She stayed longer than her shift was scheduled and didn’t leave my room. She had no obligation to stay, she could have gone home and left the last part of my labor and delivery to the nurses staring the night shift, but she never left my side. She stayed and supported me right through the end. I don’t have words to explain how much her kindness meant to me during almost 13 hours of labor, and nominating her for this award isn’t thanks enough.
