Celena is an amazing nurse that knows how to connect with patients and provide much-needed support.
Our son was admitted to the NICU following labs drawn at the request of our pediatrician. This entire series of events caught us off guard as we expected to be in and out for his initial visit after being born 3 days earlier. After spending four hours in the ER with nothing but questions and disbelief, we were admitted to the NICU where Celena was our assigned nurse, and the steady hand that displayed the kindness and warmth you would get from family. She was very attentive and reassuring when we needed it the most.
My wife was actively breastfeeding and Celena ensured she had privacy. Additionally, she ensured my wife was fed to promote her milk production. She knew all of our needs without us having to ask. Finally, she knew we did not have a local place to stay. She coordinated access to the guest room for us to get a much-needed power nap to get through the earlier morning and the rest of the day. Celena is an amazing nurse that knows how to connect with patients and provide much-needed support. I will also say that every nurse we encountered in the ER was amazing as well.
