I arrived on ward after surgery for a life-threatening organ failure, alone and far from family and friends. Celina provided excellent, professional nursing care to me. Her kindness, compassion, and sweet-natured positive attitude truly increased my recovery time, for which I am very grateful. Celina provided equal high-quality nursing care to each patient her entire shift. The example most memorable to me was she found a cellphone cable and recharged my dead phone. That isn't standard health care protocol: it was pure compassion and kindness. Meaningful to me, who arrived at ER without any family or friends aware of my medical emergency -- I was alone and scared. Celina's gesture permitted me to contact my wife, my sister, and my friends in my time of need. Her action removed my fear and anxiety, so my recovery improved. Yes, my surgeons removed the risk to my life, and I am humbled and grateful, of course. Celina's nursing care came through BIGTIME in my recovery phase medically, plus made me comfortable emotionally, for which I am eternally grateful. So very grateful.
