My mother is 94 years old. She does not hear well or process quickly, but she is very intelligent. My mom was here 1st for a cardiac version and here again for AV Node Ablation. On both visits, the RN got close to my Mom, looked her in the eyes, and spoke directly to her; my mom understood what she was saying and could answer her questions. She also asked which Dr. was performing the procedure or surgery and assured my mom that he was the best. It may seem simple, but it meant so very much to my mom to not feel dismissed and feel confident in the procedure. It made both of us feel safe and welcome in this hospital.
