First off, my daughter is growing quickly and strong, and we love her so much. I wanted to thank you and your team for everything you did for me and my family during my daughter's birth. I went into that day absolutely terrified and full of grief, but I ended up having a beautiful experience of life and growth, and I would not change a thing. 

It was amazing to have a crunchy hospital birth with the tools of modern medicine available. You guys made me feel respected, informed, heard, and safe to be vulnerable. My faith in care in a hospital setting has been restored, and your team is doing absolutely critical work. I came out not only with my daughter healthy in my arms but with wounds in my soul healed. 

You showed me I could trust you to take care of me after so many times in my past when I had been hurt while physically and mentally vulnerable. You gave me agency, worked with my trauma needs, and clearly and kindly communicated when adjustments needed to be made. 

Please share this with the nurses as well if you are able to, and also let them know I really appreciated their fantastic sense of humor. Again, many thanks for what you do. I will absolutely give birth to my next child with your team again.
