It has been a long time since I wanted to write this letter because I know that Cezar does things from his heart and not to be known for it.
I was diagnosed with cancer in 2016. As one can expect, this was a defeating announcement from my doctor. I had gone through several and repeated procedures and I had to be admitted and stay in the hospital for a very long three weeks. As I was working away from my family, I felt helpless.
Luckily, Cezar stood on my side during those darkest hours, he kept a positive attitude to cheer me up and always asked me if I was in need of anything. He would visit me every day before and after his duty, he would cook for me and bring it so we would eat together. He was the one who would walk miles with me, never allowing me to feel depressed or to be alone. He would tell stories and crack a joke at the right moment. Cezar knows that a word and a phone call, even if he cannot be physically present, means the world to a patient. During all this time, he never stopped providing the compassionate care he always does to everyone, still, he gave me probably the most valuable thing: his own time.
I was blessed with Cezar during those arduous and difficult times while being in and out of the hospital and receiving chemotherapy was a reality for 2 years. Cezar has never grown tired and never left my side. This is my way of thanking him. Any person who comes across him, has found a treasure of gold in him. I know he never asks or expects anything in return. But from the bottom of my heart, I am grateful that God brought such kind person into my life.
