Chad constantly checked on me, brought me fluids, and inquired about my well-being with respect, honor, humility, and a well-tuned ear. I have been treated with a type of respect here on this unit and at this hospital that is uncommon to me. As a veteran, father, grandfather, and spiritual human, I will be leaving St. Vincent with more respect and hope for humanity. Thank you for YOUR service.
