Chad was nominated for his calm leadership and dedication shown to the needs of a patient in critical condition. When his colleagues called for help with the ailing patient, Chad responded quickly and assessed the situation. He helped stabilize the patient on the floor and delegate tasks to the team, making everyone feel more useful and confident in the situation.
He was open and verbal with each step of the patient's care and took suggestions and contributions in stride. Chad also pushed to get the patient into the last bed in the unit and up off the floor.
