I recently finished an internship as a nursing student with Chad in the ER, and I saw his patient care shine through as I followed him one-on-one for six weeks. Not only is Chad respected by all of his colleagues, but his kindness and compassion also shine through when caring for the sickest or most difficult patients. Chad's demeanor during stressful situations exudes professionalism, competence, and sincerity. He is a team player who never complains and is always willing to lend a helping hand. As a mentor, he voluntarily precepts students and strives to challenge yet encourage up and coming nurses. Chad is a true DAISY Nurse and I am certain all of his co-workers would agree!
