My time with Chad has been absolutely incredible! He was the best preceptor that I could have asked for. I feel so much more prepared to be a nurse after the time I spent learning from Chad. Not only did he teach me so much about the profession of nursing, but he helped me to practice my skills by allowing me to handle all aspects of care for our patients (with his guidance, of course). He allowed me to handle almost every single medication that was ordered, looked for opportunities for me to help other nurses/providers with interesting tasks, encouraged me to do things that were out of my comfort zone, and gave me the freedom to spend time talking with patients as I felt called.

Chad is an incredible nurse, and I feel so honored to have been able to learn so much from him. Out of my entire time in the School of Nursing, this is truly one of the most valuable experiences that I have had. I believe that it has shown me so much about the kind of nurse that I hope to be, and the kind of impact that I wanted to have, all while preparing me with the skills I need to one day reach those goals! I can only hope that one day I will be able to work with Chad again! I am so sad to say goodbye to the Bedford ED and to Chad!
