There are so many situations in which Chad Warrick displays compassion & extraordinary clinic skills. He is continuously going above and beyond for each & every patient and their families. He is a great asset to the ICU, Broadlawns and the Nursing Profession.
To specify one particular situation in which Chad displayed awesome, holistic care is when he was caring for an older gentleman in the ICU. This patient came to us often and would stay for quite a while. He would always make sure that he was clean, safe and comfortable. He would shave him up nicely and comb his hair just right. He was continuously assessing the patient’s non-verbals to assure his comfort. He would spend time with the patient and talk & joke with him even though the patient usually could not respond. He treated this man like his long lost buddy. This gentleman has since passed away but I know he is looking down, grinning at him each & every day.
