Chad demonstrated all of the ICARE principles when he took care of my friend. Whenever Chad came into the room he told us exactly what he was doing and why. He handled everything professionally. When my friend had hallucinations and thought he was being harmed, Chad was calm and reassuring. When my friend thought he was helping some else who was being harmed, Chad knew just what to do and never lost his professional calm demeanor. My friend did try to hurt Chad too and he was so great with him, he handled the entire situation with a great attitude and advocated for my friend. If I was in the hospital, I would want Chad to be my nurse.
