Chaelyn Hembree, RN

Chaelyn is a brand new RN grad. I was precepting her the night she took care of her first prenatal loss patient. The patient was alone with no one who was able to be here through this time of loss. She stayed by her side, offered compassion and support through the entire process. She took her time taking photos, creating a separate album in the mom’s phone and editing the pics to make some black and white. Chaelyn encouraged the mom to spend time with her baby, she held her while she cried. Chaelyn did a very good job for her first time taking care of this kind of patient. Chaelyn is on her way to becoming an extraordinary nurse.
