Chaka wears many hats. She is not only an exceptional nurse leader but one who takes on many other roles, such as Magnet Program Coordinator and DAISY Coordinator, as well as others. She is amazing in that she somehow finds the time to wear all of these hats, be an effective manager, and still have time left to care for mothers, babies, and her staff. This selflessness makes her stand out as a leader I trust and admire. The knowledge I have learned from her since becoming a lactation consultant cannot be measured. The impact she makes on our team shines through and makes a difference for all of us and our patients.
