When I was diagnosed with osteosarcoma bone cancer at the age of 16, she was my very first nurse and she has become a mentor and a big sister to me. She gives me advice on life, helps me with my school work, and is also my spiritual rock when I need her. She goes above and beyond for me in and outside of the hospital. She is more than just a nurse; she's my role model. If anyone deserves the DAISY Award, she does.
