Chanelle Caple, BSN, RN

I am writing this on behalf of my grandmother. She recently had a heart attack and was brought into the emergency room and had a cardiac cath. We were all very scared and worried throughout her hospitalization, but immediately felt better when we met Chanelle. Chanelle took the time to update us and answer all the questions she had. I felt she went above and beyond in her care with my grandmother. She was patient with her and always took the time to repeat something if my grandmother didn't hear her. She made sure my grandmother and all the family were well-updated. Chanelle offered her other food options to try to get her to eat, got her set up in the chair, took her on walks, and even printed her out some word searches to make her feel as "normal" as possible like she would do if she was at home. We were blessed when Chanelle got to care for my grandmother for a couple of days during her stay because she made us feel at ease. I am a nurse at Christiana myself and I know it can be challenging, to say the least. Chanelle inspired me to be a more patient and caring nurse. She carries herself with confidence and has a great bedside manner. You can tell she truly loves what she does, and it makes all the difference. She is a light in this crazy world.
