Unfortunately, I am admitted to the hospital frequently due to a chronic illness. Chantel went out of her way to make me comfortable. When routine medications weren't working, she found a medication that was ordered but had been overlooked. I also had a "meltdown". I was emotionally overwhelmed. Chantel stayed at my bedside and talked me through things. She was amazing. In closing, Chantel did something that will forever stick with me. I felt so much guilt for things getting so bad, she broke things down for me and helped me understand. I was very scared, and she stayed by my side until it was okay. Her compassion was amazing. It was a privilege to be her patient.
