Chantel Schneeberg, RNC-OB, C-EFM

I first met Chantel a few years ago after delivering my son at 16 weeks due to complications. Her care while we were there was beyond exceptional. She was thoughtful and caring, gave us space when needed, and support and advice as we asked for it. She was instrumental in us getting through our time at the hospital and making numerous hard decisions in the most challenging time of our lives. 

We stayed in touch after we left the hospital. A year later, she helped me coordinate giving a baby gift to a baby that shared our son’s birthday at St. Mary’s, going above and beyond again by coming in on her day off to meet us and deliver the gift to the nurse’s station. There was no one I’d rather have again recently as my nurse to help me through my induction labor and delivery for our final baby than Chantel. 

She helped make the room cozy before my arrival, was with me the whole day guiding and caring for everything I needed, and then when we knew our daughter wasn’t going to come before her shift was over, she clocked out and came back as a support person for me staying on extra two hours to be there for us and the birth of our daughter. 

I could go on and on about Chantel and how much she means to us. She will always and forever hold a very special place in our hearts and deserves this award and so much more for her passion for her patients.
