As a chaplain, I responded to a patient who was receiving care from Chanti. The patient's husband couldn't have been more effusive in talking about the care that his wife was receiving. He told me, "I've been in the hospital a few times and so has she, and I can honestly say she's the best nurse we've ever had. She's always in here checking on her and checking on me to see how I'm doing. I left here on Sunday night and told her that I wasn't worried at all because I knew she was in the best of hands." It's clear that Chanti has a huge impact on her patients and their families, and that they can really feel how much she cares about them. When I mentioned the husband's comments offhand to one of the other nurses as I left the floor, they told me that Chanti is amazing, and they hear this kind of praise about her often. She definitely deserves a DAISY for her incredible impact!
